ARTIST BIO
Sara Aiello
Sara Aiello was born and raised in Titusville, PA. She currently resides in Warren, PA, where she enjoys the Allegheny National Forest to its fullest. Sara finds inspiration in nature and people. She loves how a custom portrait can tell a profound story and evoke memories and feelings and can create a personal connection with the client. Sara’s expertise lies in watercolor painting, though she also draws, paints murals and canvases. You may have seen her most recent murals, the "Welcome to KANE, PA" and James City's updated saw sign.
She has her bachelor’s degree in K-12 Art Education from Edinboro University, her Master's degree in Education from Wilkes University. She taught art for 15 years, has displayed work at the Crary Art Gallery and created illustrations for children books. Sara contributes illustrations for product designs like Struthers Library Theatre's 140th celebration image and the new Hand illustrated map of Kane. She plays music in live performance art and participates in art shows and markets. She is always seeking her next project and would love to create a custom original work for you.
Teaching art to children is where Sara thrives. Currently, she is accepting small group classes (parties) and individual lessons for all ages primarily in the Kane and Warren area. She is flexible with your schedule and leaves your child with the knowledge and history of many art forms and the kids get to go home with creative confidence and many unique fine art projects.
